So, there I was, just quietly watching Mythbusters alone, late at night on the sofa, after being sick all day and feeling very susceptible to fever-induced hallucinations.

( And this showed up on my TV. )

Hmmm. It's strange. This year, I've found myself less thinking "Merry Christmas" and more "Happy Holidays". My grandma would say this is the problem with taking the church out of school, since apparently no one gets to celebrate Christmas anymore. But then, it was never a religious thing for me, it was just a tradition. Maybe it also has to do with the fact that one of my best friends is Sikh, so the closest thing she has to a holiday is Boxing Day. I don't know. It doesn't really bother me, since like I said I don't celebrate Christmas to be Christian, but it's just weird.

In any case,

And it's not like they phoned or emailed or anything either!
I just came home and there was an envelope from Fedex for me (and I never get any mail, so that was weird too...) and inside were two tickets! Not even a letter or anything, just the tickets!

...which I guess means I should break out my "Louder Now" CD, right? (I actually like "Where You Want to Be" best...but Louder Now is good. And hey, they might play a few old songs, right?)

AHHH AND THEIR CONCERTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AMAAAAZING.
YAY! I FINALLY GET TO SEE!
I was admittedly kinda sad that I'd miss out, but at the time I was saving up for MCR. But now I get to see both! Yay!!!

Gaaah it's too bad it's a school day though. I'm not lining up early I guess...but I hopefully if I go like 3 I'll still be near the front...
And hopefully it won't be tooooo late...

My brother's friends are such weirdos.

examples:
-"Big" Alex always saying "Hey, it's Rusty's sister!" whenever I walk by them in the hall
-them thinking that Rusty should either be a cat farmer or a pimp while at university. (Well, assuming he goes to university, which they think he will because he's...a hard worker with initiative? Or something?)
-while playing poker or some other card game at lunch, using "Rusty's sister" as a bet (Apparently I'm the equivalent to eight Japanese hookers! Actually, I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not...o_O)
